Clarion Rehab Services and CHAMP (Clarion Hospital Athletic Medicine Program) are pleased to announce Nicholas Frederick as January’s Student-Athlete of the Month. Nicholas is a senior at Clarion Area High School where he participates in cross country and basketball. He is also a member of National Honors Society, robotics, Vice-President of Student Council, Vice-President of the Senior Class, Science Olympiad, math competition team, and volunteers at Immaculate Conception Church. His hobbies include sports, being outdoors, cooking, and playing video games. Nicholas also works for C&A Trees.
Nicholas’s future plans are to attend Penn State Behrend to major in Engineering, “then move to Colorado and get rich”. His favorite sports memories include either “little league baseball with all of my closest friends at the time, or going to states with my cross-country team this past fall.” Nicholas states the most inspiring people in his life are “Tom Lewis, who has been an assistant basketball coach all four years I’ve been in high school, or my parents who always push me to do my best.” Clarion Rehab Services and CHAMP would like to thank DE Sports, Inc. and Pizza Pub for sponsoring January’s CHAMP Student-Athlete of the Month. Nicholas was awarded gift certificates to both of these local establishments.
