Sarah is a senior at Keystone High School where she served as the captain of the varsity girls soccer team this season. She has also participated in track and field, marching band, concert band and choir, the school musical, Keystone Youth Education Association, SPARK Club and is the secretary of the senior class, treasurer of Senior High Student Government, and the secretary of National Honors Society. Outside of school she is an active member of 4-H, and a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and youth group. Her hobbies include horseback riding, playing the clarinet, violin and soprano saxophone as well as singing and reading. Her favorite sports memory is breaking her nose while playing soccer against Clarion this year and having to get it set back in place on the sideline. The most inspiring people in Sarah’s life are her coaches and her family. Sarah stated, “They push me to do my best in everything I do.” Sarah’s future plans are to attend an undecided college to obtain a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Clarion Rehab Services and CHAMP would like to thank Sweet Basil for sponsoring September's CHAMP Student-Athlete of the Month. Sarah was given a gift certificate from the local establishment.
