Owner of Clarion Rehab) Clarion Rehab Services and the CHAMP Athletic Medicine Program are pleased to announce Dawson Smail as April’s Student-Athlete of the Month. Dawson is a senior at Clarion Area High School where he has participated in football, basketball and baseball. In his free time he likes spending time with his friends and family, enjoying nature, hitting baseballs, swimming, golfing and going on runs. His hobbies include learning about the stock market and watching movies. He works as a laborer for Fred L. Burns and is a Doordash delivery driver. His favorite sports memory is winning the PIAA A State Championship for baseball last year with his best friends. The most inspiring people in Dawson’s life are his parents, his baseball coach Rob Jewett, Seth Babington, Laura Burford and his grandparents. They are always there to support him. Dawson’s future plans are to attend Xavier University to major in business and continue his baseball career.
